Let’s say the 2nd product listed for $16.95 and only charges $4.50 for shipping and handling. That means you actually are paying $21.45 for the product. Remember the days of checking out books at the library. Though libraries are a wealth of information if you have the time to drive to your local library, you are very fortunate. Now days with so many projects going on at the same time, most are hard pressed to find the time. The "I want it now" generation is exploding on the internet. With the ability to research thousands of sources of information right from home. It has become almost a chore to get out of your chair and drive to the library. For those of us who grew up searching the library, we learned some good techniques of research. The first thing we learned was association of possible topics and subjects. They now call those Keywords on the internet. Example: Say you are looking for waterfalls as a subject. Now you would normally just look under waterfalls. That would give you a wealth of information. Yet to increase your possible knowledge base, you could also expand your search to components of your major subject and find more in depth information. Example: Water features, making a waterfall, fake rock, ponds, Koi fish etc. Now though some are not directly related to specifically just waterfalls. Many times by reviewing these other subjects, you find other research terms in them that you have not thought of. It also completes the picture of your initial subject matter, giving you a better knowledge of all the possible scenarios and possible components affecting waterfalls. In today’s age it is easy to just take information at face value without research since we tend to feel we have no time in our busy schedule to investigate something in depth. If it is important to you, do a complete research on the subject matter. Get a full picture of everything that can affect your researched item.

Education has substantially moved to the internet. Online courses, downloadable products and free information resources. Yes the kids still go to school, but where do most do there homework and research? The Internet! Now instead of spending hours at a local library after you drive them there and have to pick them up later, they can access 1000's of articles and reference material on the subject matter in minutes. There is also a new twist to this form of education we did not have in the local library. They have contact with 1000's of other people on the subject matter at the same time, where we had contact with 1 or 2 librarians. This can be good and this can be dangerous as well. The good part is that you can ask several individuals on the internet a question and get several answers and compile them into a combined idea picture in minutes or hours. The bad part may very well that there is no one to validate the information you may getting since the internet is basically an open hole where anyone can throw anything in. So you need to get many resources off the internet to insure consistency and accuracy of the information being provided. It is not the information on the internet that is a problem, it is the individual who has not learned how to research properly and discard the erroneous information that clogs the internet arteries.

Downloadable courses are bursting all over the internet. From Language, DIY (do it yourself), computer learning and just about every subject you can imagine. You buy it on the internet and in an hour you have your course and can begin your study or project. Not only that, many courses also provide portability. Example: A program may be able to be learned on the computer at home and also provide MP3 files so you can play in an Ipod or MP3 player. So now you can learn at work during a lunch break. The only drawback between a Library and the internet is, I miss just walking down the isles of books and seeing something interesting and start reading it. Sleep Learning and Quick Language Learning

If you have ever wanted to learn something, but just have a hard time retaining vast amounts of new information. This may be for you. Sleep Learning, also called hypnopedia in the scientific community, has been studied for over 40 years. In control groups, those who listened to information during sleep, tend to excel learning the information. This in part is due to what happens when you sleep.
When you sleep, not only are you resting, your mind is also filing all the events and new things you have heard and seen. It is believed the reason you tend to learn faster if you use a sleep learning program is that during this filing process, you are introducing information to file. One is subliminal.
Subliminal is below the threshold of conscious perception. Many of these have soothing music and the message is below what you can consciously hear. Supposedly the brain will process the information that you think you can not hear. There has been much debate on subliminal messaging. The major drawback with subliminal is, since you can not hear consciously what your brain is suppose to be memorizing, what is actually being said and feed to your subconscious. Kind of scary.
Low Play
Low Play technique is to play audio recordings at the lowest audible level you can still hear. College students have used this technique in Medical school and Law school for years. It allows you to take your recorded class work home and listen to the highlights while sleeping and reinforcing the information while your brain is busy putting the day’s activities in the correct file cabinets. This technique is the most common since you can easily create your own programs on the fly at home. It also has the most proven results in control groups. I recommend that you try this method yourself. Take some recorded learning material and turn the volume down till you can barely hear it. You may want to use headphones or a pillow speaker. Make sure the material repeats itself several times so that it is reinforced. I have used this technique for several years, especially in the years as a negotiator. Give it a try. You have nothing to lose and everything to learn.

Ciphering the Tagalog Language

Learning the Tagalog Language is essential if you plan to communicate in the Philippines. Tagalog is sometimes also called Filipino or the Pilipino Language. So as not to get confused, let me explain the difference between the terminologies. Tagalog is the national language of the Philippines. It is spoken by about 23% of the population. The remaining spoken languages, the remaining 77%, is divided among approximately 175 other dialects. Tagalog, being the Official National Language of the Philippines, is considered as the base language. If you look at the other dialects, you will see numerous Tagalog and Tagalog derivatives in them. And most who do speak these other dialects, understand some Tagalog.
So learning Tagalog is essential.

That being said, you may wonder what Filipino or Pilipino is. This is a combination of both Tagalog and other dialects and languages. Filipino or sometimes Pilipino (its older name) is an amalgamation of all the Philippines languages, English and Spanish combined together. Since English as well as Tagalog is taught in the schools in the Philippines, many people tend to speak Tagalog with English words mixed in the sentence. At that point they are talking Filipino.
So now you see how important it is to learn Tagalog. Once you take the time to learn some Tagalog, you will be able to communicate in Tagalog as well as Filipino.
